A polyphenol goldmine.
The leaves of this rare and ancient tea varietal are more concentrated in polyphenols (theaflavins) than any other tea. Theaflavins help to support digestion and gut health.
A warrior in the battle for a flourishing gut.
Precious microbiotica, naturally occurring in the plant, ferment our Tea Crystals, turning them darker with time and enriching them with probiotics. Support microbial diversity... without the sugar of kombucha.
A primordial superfood.
Roots deeper than any other tea varietal draw rich minerals, microbial diversity and precious nutrients into the tea leaves. A difference you’ll be able to taste – and feel.

I stocked up when there was a sale and now I'm out. This flavor is way better than the green pu-erh and the quality is amazing. That said, you can get a very high quality pu-erh loose and re-steep many times, so this pricing is frustrating. Perhaps when bulk packaging is introduced, that will help, but the occasional sale or better values on multiple-carton purchases would be ideal. There's no discount for 2 cartons and I'm not paying $330 for such little tea.
Lovely flavor. Perhaps one of my favorite ever. Smooth, with no bitterness on the finish. I am drinking way too much of this regularly for how expensive it is.... price is the only draw-back with this one.
I like this tea but I do not like the huge waste that is in the packaging. Totally unnecessary.
Thank you so much for your feedback and for sharing your very valid concerns with us. We're sorry if our packaging options are limited at this moment in time, and with the resources we have, we do our best to minimize waste without sacrificing quality. Our boxes and cartons are made from recycled materials and are recyclable but our sachets are not at this time. The sachets are made from aluminum and plastic composite. We have tested out several packaging options in the past, but we have found that our aluminum sachets are the only effective way to fully protect our teas from moisture, light, and oxygen while producing a smaller environmental footprint than a teabag (plastic or bleached paper) and wrapper (aluminum and plastic composite like our sachets).
With that said, we are planning to offer our teas in bulk in the near future similar to your Sun Goddess Matcha Tin. This is an issue that is at the very top of our minds. We take from the earth to produce healing products, leaving a pile of garbage behind that destroys the earth is very, very bothersome to us here at Pique. We want all our products to shift to having tin can options soon.
