Easier to absorb and more concentrated than matcha
The nutrients in Pique Tea crystals are even more bioavailable than matcha. This is because they are in an easily absorbable water soluble form, whereas a significant portion of the nutrients in matcha remain inside the ground leaves after you ingest them. When matcha is ground into a fine powder, there is also a substantial loss of nutrients resulting from heat and oxidation. This is akin to grinding dried herbs into a powder, storing it for months before using it, and also repeatedly exposing it to air.

Tea contains a large number of important amino acids. L-theanine in particular is an amino acid that stimulates the production of alpha wave activity in the brain, resulting in a state of calm alertness. This duality of L-Theanine naturally promotes relaxation while heightening concentration. The amino acid is also known to reduce anxiety and enhance mood. In tea crystals, L-Theanine and caffeine work together to produce a sustained and focused energy, lasting up to six hours. Prevent the weight gain from regular caffeine
When tea is digested, the caffeine molecules bind to more stable larger molecules, such as catechins. This binding slows the breakdown of caffeine in the bloodstream and therefore counteracts the usual negative side effects of caffeine. No jitter. No crash. Pique is full of catechins, which are a super class of antioxidants that help fight bacteria and infections. One specific catechin in Pique is especially known to boost metabolism. It’s called EGCG or epigallocatechin gallate. The amount of catechin in Pique is 6:1 compared to average tea. Natural detoxification of black tea
The natural color of black tea is the result of a class of antioxidants called theaflavins, which is known to be a natural detoxifier. When green tea oxidizes into black tea (like a leaf that falls from a tree), catechins are converted into theaflavins. Theaflavins cleanse the blood of lipids, regulates blood sugar and enhances digestion. Black tea has been used in the Southern China for thousands of years as a natural detoxifier after meals or sweets.
