Traveling. Discovering new places and foods. Group activities like potluck, wine nights and attending music and art shows.
I was born and raised in a small tropical island named Singapore. Albeit small in size, Singapore is a multinational society where I was exposed to different cultures and food. Tea drinking and the Traditional Chinese Medicine approach to wellness was a huge part of my culture. It’s quite amazing to see how many of these practices are now being adopted in Western society today.
I was an Affiliate Marketing Manager at an ad-tech startup and SAAS company in San Francisco for the first 3 years of my career. I always envisioned myself in digital marketing while still doing something fulfilling. My role at Pique is the perfect intersection of that.
Pique has also allowed me to grow both spiritually and professionally. I can’t think of any other career opportunity that can provide that. It’s not every day you get to improve the health of others, versus just sell product. As a team, we are always encouraged to improve ourselves through constant learning and prioritize self-care. My role also gives me the opportunity to build relationships with doctors and health experts to amplify our impact which I love.
Moving to Los Angeles was an exciting new experience, after living in the Bay Area for almost 8 years… new places to explore, people to meet and food to eat. I enjoy discovering new day hiking trails, hunting down eateries and going to outdoor events to take advantage of the good weather.
