Interests

Climbing up and sliding down mountains on foot, bikes or skiis. Healing foods. Strength and mobility training. Giving ALL the snuggles to my St. Bernard/Wolfhound doggie.

Growing up in Graz, Austria instilled in me a deep love for a rugged, outdoors lifestyle and the importance of living a life that is as close to nature as possible (growing your own food, raising your own animals, knowing your baker by name, playing outdoors at every possible opportunity).

Before Pique, I worked as a civil litigator at Morrison & Foerster for 10 years. At that point in my life, my journey to reclaim my own health led to additional education, certifications and obsession in the fields of fitness, nutrition, yoga and posture. I have spent the past 8 years coaching people to reach their full performance potential through all aspects of wellness.

Working at Pique is deeply inspiring. It’s rare to find a product (and the people behind it) that checks all the boxes for being nourishing, pure, sustainable and ethical. That would be enough, but my role goes so far beyond product, I’m often amazed at what I get to do. I design wellness curriculum, create health content and directly coach customers about their personal health needs. The challenges this presents – and the remarkable wellness journeys of so many of our customers – is fulfilling to me on a daily basis.

I live in a cabin (that I helped build!) at 8000ft elevation. That’s because I’m happiest when I’m stretching my limbs and lungs anywhere in nature. Snow, pine trees and campfires are like drugs to me. I spend my free time hiking, mountain biking, cycling, backcountry skiing, camping and drinking anywhere from 5-7 cups of tea per day ;)
