A polyphenol goldmine.
The leaves of this rare and ancient tea varietal are more concentrated in polyphenols (theaflavins) than any other tea. Theaflavins help to support digestion and gut health.

I have enjoyed a bunch of different pique teas, but I like the Pu’er black the best! It’s so smooth and tastes delicious! I have recently stopped drinking coffee and this tea gives me just the right amount of energy! Love it!
I love tea, but I've never been a kombucha fan. This tastes more like normal tea. I've had stomach issues for a while and was hoping this could help some. Full disclosure, I changed a few parts of my diet at the same time, so I cannot completely attribute feeling better to the tea. But that being said, I have had fewer problems since around the time I started drinking the pu'er tea. The only drawback to this tea is the price. But thanks, Tim Ferris, for the suggestion!
The fermented and pure tea is a gut supporter and that’s my motive to drink. Next time I may
Change to a non caffeine tea for late afternoons
8oz of water is too much - 6oz is better - overall I’m disappointed - I love your concept / the idea of nutritional value but the lack of flavor was surprising
I'm coming up on two months of daily drinking of Fermented Pu'er black tea. I have struggled with digestive issues and diagnosed irritable bowel syndrome. I take all kinds of supplements, probiotics, enzymes, and so forth. Since adding this tea twice daily to my regimen, my digestion is notably better. I experience less gas and bloating. I feel calmly energized. As a former coffee drinker the depth of caffeine is apparent but I don't get jittery or feel over-stimulated. It's expensive, but compare it to supplements or fine bottles of wine. It's worth it.
